Welcome to Chester Cider Club – the perfect place for cider and perry lovers to come together and discover the world of craft cider. Our club is all about promoting and celebrating the very best ciders from the UK and beyond.
At our monthly events, you can taste a variety of ciders and perries from all over the world. Whether you’re a cider aficionado or just getting started, our events are designed to be fun, educational, and a great opportunity to meet new people.
Our events are typically held on the second Wednesday of every month at That Beer Place (ironic, I know!) There’s no need to register in advance – just turn up and enjoy the evening. Best of all, you only pay for what you drink, so you can sample as many different ciders as you like without breaking the bank.
At Chester Cider Club, we’re passionate about supporting cider producers and helping our members learn more about the art and science of cider making. That’s why we also invite guest cider makers to some of our events, giving you the opportunity to meet and learn from experienced professionals in the field.

This will be an exclusive tasting experience, pairing six award-winning ciders specially selected by us, served alongside Chef Jay’s six expertly curated seasonal plates.
Dale will be talking you through all things cider - from cultivation and history to similarities with wine production and tasting profiles, to show us why a well-crafted cider can hold it’s own as an expertly paired accompaniment to a meal.
We hope you leave with a newfound understanding and deeper appreciation for the craft of cider making, its rich flavours, and its versatility as a perfect companion to food.

It is with heavy hearts that we at Chester Cider Club remember Susanna Forbes, a true pioneer and advocate for cider. Susanna joined us for a Little Pomona tap takeover on our first birthday, and her gentle, generous, and wonderful soul left an indelible mark on all of us.
Many of our members had the pleasure of meeting Susanna on multiple occasions, and her warmth and kindness always shone through. She had an incredible ability to remember everyone she met, generously sharing her knowledge, time, and passion for cider with an infectious enthusiasm. As co-founder of @littlepomona, an accomplished writer and a leading voice in the cider world, her dedication to the craft and her vision for what cider could be were a constant source of inspiration. Her work helped to elevate the perception of cider and paved the way for more women to make their mark in the industry.
Our thoughts are with James, her family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing Susanna. We know her influence will continue to shape the cider community for years to come. Susanna’s presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit, her pioneering efforts, and the generosity she embodied will always be remembered by us at Chester Cider Club.

An amazing away trip to Cirencester for @3ccpa for the 5th annual CraftConcider making conference.
The quality on show from a huge range of producers from across the globe was outstanding. The talks were all insightful and we walked away a little more knowledgeable and a little more inspired.
